SSRM Tek stands for Semantic Stimuli Response Measurement Technology, a powerful psychological screening methodology. SSRM Tek is a tool that measures the statistically significant responses of the subconscious mind in relation to any predetermined stimuli or topic providing a glimpse into a source of information that has never been measured before, the subconscious mind. SSRM Tek is the world’s first scientifically validated and commercially available Psychotechnology with Psycho-probing capabilities patent-pending since 2003.

SSRM Tek is the world’s first technology to measure the response of the subconscious mind outside a laboratory setting. Professionals have proven SSRM Tek effective since 1998 in security, defence, and corporate enterprise where it has been used as a cost-effective and accurate screening and investigation tool. SSRM Tek easily obtains invaluable information from a source that never lies: the subconscious mind. It does what no other technology has ever done before; it MEASURES the subconscious mind.

This powerful, psychological screening tool is used in combination with extremely sophisticated software and almost any stand-alone Windows-based PC. Easily customized to the needs of any organization in the form of a non-threatening, non-invasive computer game, SSRM Tek mathematically analyzes any person’s response to subconscious exposure of words and/or images. Even those who are computer illiterate, and just plain illiterate can effectively be tested with SSRM Tek in any language and for any culture around the world.

Since each person’s psyche is different, each SSRM test has been developed as a complete scientific experiment. SSRM Tek is deadly accurate with a false positive rate of ONLY 0.5%. See Scientific Validity for more detailed information.

Basic Principals of SSRM Tek

SSRM Tek is based on the universal principles of human behavior. Humans are the product of information from their surrounding environment. Any traits influences, abilities, etc. are described and experienced through words, pictures or sounds. They are categorized and prioritized by emotions throughout one’s life.  The major content of the human’s informational being is inaccessible to his/her consciousness.  It belongs to the subconscious mind.

People unconsciously react to words, pictures and sounds associated with their emotions. This is not dependent on the age, gender, color or language of the person. People will consciously try to interfere with or hide their reactions to questions with strong emotional overtones. SSRM Tek allows one to measure subconscious effects without the influence or even knowledge of the conscious mind.

Taking the SSRM Test

The technology is incorporated into sophisticated software as a simple computer game enabling the user to take the test from almost any Windows-based PC. The only requirements are a computer, mouse and headphones. The user sits in a quiet room and plays a game where they are instructed to click the mouse when they feel they should in response to numbers that flash on the screen. The test can take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes and test up to 20 different topics. In order to determine mathematically significant responses the user is exposed from 1800 to 2700 subconscious stimuli during the time of testing. Any person in any language can take the test from any culture, even the illiterate.

The user cannot prepare, lie or cheat for the SSRM test because it tests their subconscious mind over which they have no control. As such the user cannot affect the outcome of the test, nor can the administrator. Outside of simple training, the administrator does not require any kind of special education to administer the test. Once the test is done a raw data file is generated. This file, in conjunction with the result model now makes it impossible to analyze the results. The results model can thus be secured in any other location with limited access allowing for security clearance testing to be accomplished in non-secure environments. Once the data files are fed into the results model, fully analyzed results are immediately generated. SSRM is accurate to a 0.5% false positive rate. In this way SSRM Tek can accurately, efficiently, and cost-effectively screen hundreds of thousands of people for security clearances and maintain the status quo by acting as a deterrent to future crimes or disloyalties.

Tamper Proof & Deadly Accurate

The user cannot prepare for the SSRM procedure beforehand and will not be able to control their reactions. The brain responds to different words in different ways. If the sequence of the stimuli contains objects unconditionally significant for the subject, the user responds to their appearance more impetuously than to the stimuli which are insignificant to them. More specifically, the subconscious mind will respond, bypassing the conscious mind. This phenomenon makes it possible to obtain accurate and true responses.

Subconscious responses can be easily detected by monitoring the time it takes to click the mouse after showing the disguised word. A special mathematical computation in the software converts the results of the test into a report form that is easy to understand and interpret. With a simple click this report can be printed on-site as soon as the test is completed or emailed to a designated location for analysis.

The SSRM Tek Difference

Technologies, materials, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, even food, everything must be tested in some way before it is released to the public. Any material or product is first tested within a test group, the larger the better, to hopefully see all possible results the material or product will induce in people, good AND bad. Why does every medicine have side effects? Does it seem strange that the only way we know whether something is safe or dangerous is through trial and error testing on a random set of people? Does it seem strange that general practitioners and psychologists have to compare the symptoms we feel with the symptoms they have seen in other people to determine what is wrong with us? They are not you, why would it be the same? Although we are all human beings we are all individuals and very different.

In a perfect world we would have a person compared to himself to determine his ailments. In a perfect world a doctor would know how that person’s body would react to every imaginable illness. They would know exactly what is wrong and how to treat it because the information the doctor is comparing is from the person to him or herself. This is the difference that SSRM Tek brings to the world. During testing you are not testing for just predetermined topics. You are also tested for control topics, stimuli that have no emotional value, no semantic meaning to you. Each test measures a baseline in your responses along with predetermined test topics to establish your relationship to them. Your data is not compared to a control group of other people, or data gathered from some other kind of testing. Each individual test is a closed and singular scientific experiment that gathers, tests and compares data only collected from you. This is done efficiently, accurately, and effectively every time. No other technology exists to this extent in the world other than SSRM Tek. Please read further in Scientific Validity.

Benefits of SSRM Tek

Ready to use This tested and proven technology can provide the first line of defence for the many required clearances that were considered systematically impossible before due to high costs, time commitment or high volume of people. There is no need to wait years until other systems are in place, SSRM Tek can be implemented today.

Identifies Unknowns SSRM Tek uncovers those who keep their intentions hidden even without prior knowledge of any kind about the user; unlike fingerprinting, intelligence and watch lists that help in identifying only known or suspected terrorist or criminal elements.

Deterrent The presence of these powerful tests acts as a deterrent to those with criminal intent, especially to individuals who have successfully kept those intentions hidden.

Stand Alone SSRM Tek is a stand-alone tool and is not dependent on input from any other source than the user or other departments.

Ease of Use No special knowledge is required to administer the test. Examinees need not be computer literate to take the test nor even traditionally literate.

Time Efficient Preparation for the test by the examiner takes just a few minutes. The actual test for up to 20 topics takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. Some tests could take as little as five minutes.

100% Non-invasive The test presents as a simple computer game where the user does not even realize that they are being tested as the act of the test and the test itself is completely non-invasive.

Unaffected by External Sources The psycho-physiological state of the user does not affect the results of the test except if they are under the influence of alcohol or narcotics at the time of the test.

Accurate Since SSRM Tek reaches into the subconscious mind, deliberate falsification or unintended modification of the results are not possible using this method. One canot prepare for the test – and the participant or the person administering the test cannot affect the results in any way. SSRM Tek has a tested false positive rate of just 0.5%.

Objective There is no room for subjectivity-or conscious falsification of the test results by the examiner. Even after the test the examiner has no way in knowing how to alter the test to provide a desired result.

Immediate Results Test results are obtained electronically immediately following the test therefore a decision regarding the examinee can be made immediately.

Cost Effective SSRM Tek is much less expensive than traditional methods of screening.  It could save hundreds of millions of dollars in extradition charges. It could save millions more in the field of investigation. Testing of psychological wellbeing could save hundreds of millions of dollars in health care costs. Immeasurable savings can be made in preventing human suffering by uncovering suicidal tendencies, treating the user and re-testing to determine the success of the treatment.

Portable The system can easily be moved from one location to another administered on a laptop computer in remote locations.

SSRM History of Development

Principal research began in 1926, when Dr. Alexander Luria, a Russian scientist, commenced studying the subconscious reactions of criminals replying to questions and simultaneously pressing a special pneumatic rubber bulb. The person undergoing the test was not able to completely control the time and character of their pressing, which made it possible to draw certain conclusions. This is the very principle upon which the polygraph is based.

Several decades later, with the development of computers, Dr. Igor Smirnov , the father of modern day Russian Psychoecology, and the founder of The Scientific Research Institute of Psychotechnologies received the patent for a method of Psycho-probing using Computer Psycho-semantic Analysis (CPA). In the early 2000’s Dr. Ioffe Ioffe began work on further developing a more sophisticated and accurate Computer Psycho-semantic Analysis model eventually surpassing Dr. Smirnov’s CPA complex with what we know today as Semantic Stimuli Response Measurement.

SSRM Secondary Testing Component

A secondary component of SSRM Tek is added to test a user’s ability to make the right decisions in stressful situations. This component was also included to make the test more interesting and less threatening and more like a computer game. Throughout the test certain words are flashed across the screen so that they can be consciously seen. The user is asked to choose whether or not they wish to press the button. They need to learn which words they need to press by trial and error.

The user’s reaction will reveal information about their ability to perform under pressure. Based on the results, we can distinguish, for example, if the user would be a good candidate to be a pilot or air traffic controller. It can also reveal if the user has brain damage, or is a psychopath.
